Hello guys, hope you are doing well and to be honest with you I have been using MiUi for a long period of time. Even I switched from in many devices to MiUi because that's was one of the best custom ROM available out there and its a kind very popular among the all Android users because of its really cool features and user interface, which might you don't get in any stock Android. In fact, the MiUi had features that even lagged by the other skins.

So, over the years MiUi has kind of grown at a very quick step and when Xiaomi arrived in India, people were obviously excited about the Xiaomi hardware but one of the reasons why everyone wanted to buy these new Redmi smartphones was because the MiUi. MiUi was a kind of the biggest selling point of the Redmi to sell their products to the customers but, if you look at today, that's not really the case.

We all know that the today MiUi has kind of become the drawback on the Xiaomi or Redmi smartphones. It is losing its popularity in India for two things i.e the ads and the Bloatware, which was introduced by Xiaomi in the platform over the years. And these both of the two things kind of ruined the whole experience of using MiUi.

In the past, I would recommend anyone to go for Xiaomi or Redmi budget phones even closing my eyes but for now, I hesitate to recommend anyone to buy a Redmi smartphone because of the these all ads and the spammy notifications and this is the truth. So, can we get get rid of these or can we remove it ?, yes...!! It's possible here's how.

How to Remove Bloatware and Ads from any Redmi Smartphone?

Redmi or Xiaomi had been the most popular brand in India, they had enough time to clean their software, remove the Bloatware and provide users a clean experience. No doubt, that MiUi is very smooth but it is not clean rather it's very far away from the word clean. Now, Redmi is not listening to the customers we have to take control in our hands and do something about it.

There are couple of options to get rid of these Bloatware and ads like insatlling a custom ROM which according to me is the best option, but not a lot of people are that tech savvy and even many of them doesn't want to experience other then MiUi. So, for those people who just want to be in the MiUi but without any ads and Bloatware, so this is for you guys follow these steps and get rid of these.

Remove Bloatware from any Redmi Smartphone

So, to follow up these steps we need to get a 

>Redmi Smartphone

>Data Cable 

>PC/Laptop

So, you may have any PC or Laptop running on any of the Operating System like MacOs, Windows, linux or whatever, the procedure for all the Operating systems will be the same.

Step 1

Enable Deveploper option. To enable that goto settings option> scroll down to About Phone> tap on Miui version 7 times, now this will enable the developer options.

Now go back to the settings page> goto the additional settings and you will find the developer option> then go to developer options scroll down to USB debugging and enable it. So, USB debugging will help you to connect your phone to your PC or laptop and then via. the PC or laptop you can remove these apps.

Step 2

Heading towards the PC/laptop part you need to download two files from the download link below and don't worry it's spam free and protected. So, the first file is Java sdk file and the second one is the Xiaomi fastboot tools file.

Download both of the files, after that install the Java development kit file, once it's done move on to the next file, just open it and it will automatically open up the application. So, this is the application from where you can uninstall all the unnecessary applications from your Redmi smartphone.

Once, you open up the application connect your phone to your PC or laptop via USB cable. As soon you connect your phone with USB, make sure your phone USB debugging is turned on, you will get a notification on your phone and just click on allow option. And once, you are done with that, the application will show you up all the application list of your smartphone that are available and you can uninstall the apps that you want but make sure to uninstall only those apps which you know otherwise uninstalling an essential app for the Android system may make your phone stuck into a boot loop. So, if you are confused about some apps what it actually does make sure to google it out.

Remove Ads from any Redmi Smartphone

You don't have actually a single switch or a button to just disable all the ads in the UI. Rather than Xiaomi had promised a single switch to disable system apps that we even saw in early MiUi 12 beta but till now, in the MiUi 12 update that arrived on the latest Redmi smartphones recently just don't have any such option. Maybe we can expect in the future updates but it's not here right now.

So, to get rid of the ads you have to disable app by app. First up, you can disable most of the system ads by deleting the app MSA, which is basically the MiUi Ad Services app via. the above app or you can also go to settings> password and security> disable MSA from here. However, this will not disable all the ads in MiUi, so what you need to do is wherever you find an ad in an app or a page just go to the settings of the respective app> turn off recommendations.

So, these were the ways on how to disable ads and Bloatware on any Redmi Smartphone and I think everyone should do it to get rid of all the annoying ads and of course by deleting the unnecessary apps from the smartphone you can save up to nearly 1GB of storage and that is pretty awesome.
